Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul (Previously known as ‘WoohooWellness’) Works with the game’s orientation and pronoun systems, but fleshes it out a lot. Allows for a great range of customisation for your Sims, as well as integrating aspects of gender transition into the game (something sorely lacking in most other LGBT mods). You have the option to turn any of these features off, as the mod is modular (only install the functions you want!)Īdditional shoutout to adeepindigo’s SimNation travel, which I could probably play the game without, but it adds a lot of content/realism (having to get a driver’s license, buying cars, taking the subway, passports, etc.) They also have some great overhauls of the Entertainment and Writing career!Ī newer mod, but absolutely incredible. Features include: new deaths, health insurance, allergies, chronic conditions, new deadly/non-deadly diseases, injuries, pregnancy complications, and medical emergencies. Healthcare Redux is THE best healthcare/illness mod out there right now. Get the GTW Healthcare Overhaul (also by adeepindigo) too if you have that pack. Could honestly use this as a gameplay replacement for MWS. It works with both MWS (and fixes/fleshes out a LOT of the features) and the BG, where the mod uses it’s version of the MWS features to bulk up the BG. Actually makes weddings fun and engaging. Buy engagement rings, enter civil partnerships, set a registry, etc. Download the Summer Camp mod by the same creator to add even more interest to your child sims’ lives. Adds a lot of the depth you would have expected to find in a pack like HSY. Added options for preschool, private/public/military schools, branches in the teaching career, homework/assignments, school uniforms, etc.
Makes school so much more engaging for Sims. As such, my “essential” mods list might be a bit longer than most (and you can probably cut out a good chunk of these if your PC is struggling to process them all at once). Where to begin! As a preface, I have a pretty good gaming PC, so my game is 90% mods and custom content.
